Code of Conduct required for ECI (Election Commission of India)

Today, Mr. Rahul Bhartiya, President, Nav Bharat Jan Jaagran Manch while addressing media persons in the press conference at his home said that

Election commission of India has formed various codes of conducts for Political organizations, Politicians & other organizations for the efficient & effective results. These codes of conducts play a major role in attaining peace, non-violence, grip on any illegal activities to happen and most importantly a grip which works as a discipline factor to make everybody understand about rules, regulations, laws and a responsibility to be in limits.
It’s a great achievement that these codes of conducts are implemented in the system with strictness leading to effectiveness and a fear in minds that any rule broken will surely lead to bad name of Political Organization/politician in the society. Also, will somehow affect the results too.
It’s a matter of honor in Indian Society for a great step & initiate following strict norms, specially regular and effective monitoring, for which ECI surely deserves a “salute of respect”. Really a remarkable and outstanding job done by ECI.

But what about Indian Voters? What about conduct of ECI with Indian Voter? Don’t we need code of conduct for ECI also?

It has been very shameful for Indian democracy that in second phase of polling, 3 people died just because of high temperature when they went to polling booth for voting. Just today, on television, I was watching a polling booth in Lucknow at a very posh location where there was no arrangement of shed for relief from high temperature & heat and nevertheless no arrangement of cold drinking water for the voters if they feel thirsty.
One day comes once in 5 years, when lakhs of voters come out of their homes and go to polling booths for voting leading to formation of New Government. People who form government, if can’t be provided with basic facilities, then how can we expect them to vote in coming days when everybody is getting used to of luxuries and comfort.

Today, when common man even, don’t drive in car without air conditioner, don’t sleep in their bed rooms without a.c. or fan, don’t work at their work place without fan or a.c., in these conditions why a common man will come to polling booth in temperature of more than 40 degrees to vote, when they have to stand in queue for 1 to 5 hours or even more sometimes?
Same implies for rural class, farmers and other part of societies also.

We all keep on compelling educated people, corporate people and rich community people to participate in voting but why they will come for voting? Where are the basic facilities? How can they believe in the system till system believes in them? This is really a serious matter for which I request our Hon’ able ECI team to pay their kind attention at.

Also, I would like to propose for “Internet Polling” where anybody can just login to their account providing username and password given by ECI & after verifying their genuine identity they can Vote via Internet. Surely some modern and high tech methods are required to be adopted for bigger number participation by people in “Voting” from next time.

awake yourself first before you want others to get awake

We used to and even till now listen to this song and somehow get involved in this song.

“Insaaf ki dagar pe, bachchon dikhao chalke,
Yeh desh hai tumhara, neta tumhi ho kalke”

But what about ministers of today? Don’t they need to understand and walk on the footpath of justice and anti-corruption? Every parent tells their children to be truthful, honest, dedicated, devoted & loyal towards the nation but what about the parents? Have ever parents counseled themselves on these norms and terms?
I am sure more than 99% parents will not be able to justify truthfulness, honesty, dedication, devotion & loyalty towards the nation but we always want our children to do it.

There is a very good and short example to understand it “To make sure that everyone gets wake up in the morning at 5am sharp, one has to get up first and before 5am to make sure that now everybody is awake or not.”

Our Constitution is made up of and standing on 3 pillars:
Legislation
Execute
Judiciary

And 4th so called but very important pillar is “Media”. In today’s scenario when common man is fed up of legislation, execution, judiciaries then they are looking for and expecting media to do something for them, to expose corrupted people, corrupted system and clean the system.

I was listening to a very senior writer once on television with a very intellectual speech but in brief that “We are 100% commercialized. Our expenditures are so much that even if we want to do something for people, we cant because we have to first bear out our expenses. For that, we are selling the taste to people, no matter how good it is for your health. It can be good as well as bad for health but we are not concerned about it till common man him/herself decides that how this taste is going to affect his/her body”

I think he is somehow correct. As I said earlier too that you need to awake yourself first before you want others to get awake. People help those who help themselves. Don’t expect system to get corrected automatically.
Vote for the right candidates,
no matter from which national party he/she is
no matter how new, big or old leader he is
no matter how much rich or poor person he is
no matter which community he/she belongs to

But, surely a person who knows the grass root level problems, know how to solve them and last but not least who can be accountable for the whole tenure of his/her working. If we want our children to follow the path of truth and justice, then first we need to take necessary steps for a better future.
Please cast your vote, this is your right as well as the responsibility to build a strong nation. Your first step today in this direction will surely help in achieving the target of “New & Smart India”

Information on "Right to Vote" & survey on " Why to Vote"

It has been really shocking to see that in a city like Chandigarh, where education level is at its highest level and people are not even aware that they can vote even if they don’t have their voter card made but the name should be in the voter list.

This is a real a big setback for Indian society, system and constitution that even after 62 years of independence, Indian citizens are not even aware about their voting rights. Is this what we call real development of society & nation? In a survey of around 4 hours 30 minutes in heart of Chandigarh in interaction with more than 200 people, following issues have come up which are needed to be taken care of at utmost priority level:

1. From where people can check their names in voter list?
2. How they can vote even of their voter card is not made?
3. If they have got the right to regret to voting?

No. of People interacted with
% awareness
Clause (1)
40%
Clause (2)
25%
Clause (3)
0%

When, it was asked that why they want to vote and what is the real issue for them which should be taken care of at priority level this time then r
A. Reply for first query was: Because elections have come and to form a new government.
Remarks: But there was no logical reason with anyone in the replies received. One must know that why voting is important? And how it can make an affect in the system?

B. Reply for second query was:
1. More than 50 % people said that they don’t have any issues as such and they are not even concerned or bothered about it.
2. 25-30% people said that the have always been voting either congress or BJP or other party and no matter how good or bad they are but they will stick with them only and will vote them only
3. 10-15% people said that whomsoever one will refer, they will vote them. In this category all the people who were interacted with, were the people who were hawkers, low income group or poverty line.
4. Only 5-10% people raised issues likes terrorism, education, infrastructure improvement, terrorism, good governance etc.

These are kind of shocking and demoralizing figures which clearly states that people are somehow not concerned, aware, educated about system and value of vote and at last but not least, not feeling connected with the system even now, which is a matter to be taken care of well.
Well, to conclude with our main 3 question, replies for which in current elections will surely help people to understand about the things about which they are not aware of are:

Q.: From where people can check their names in voter list?

Ans: They can go to election commission office.
They can go to M.C. of their area to confirm for the same.
They can visit election commission website and send their query for same.

Q: How they can vote even of their voter card is not made?

Ans: If the name is in voter list then one can carry following documents if the voter card is not made:
1. Driving License
2. Passport
3. Ration Card
4. PAN Card
5. Application stating the details of voter with address duly attested by Gazzetted officer.
6. Telephone/ Electricity/ water Bill

Q. If they have got the right to regret to voting?

Ans: According to THE CONDUCT OF ELECTIONS RULES, 1961:
Section 49-O. : Elector deciding not to vote.-If an elector, after his electoral roll number has been duly entered in the register of voters in Form-17A and has put his signature or thumb impression thereon as required under sub-rule (1) of rule 49L, decided not to record his vote, a remark to this effect shall be made against the said entry in Form 17A by the presiding officer and the signature or thumb impression of the elector shall be obtained against such remark.
(Source: http://lawmin.nic.in/ld/subord/cer1.htm)

Now, this is what we call “the freedom to express” or “Democracy” that if you are not willing to vote for any of the contesting candidate, then you can ask for FORM-17A from the presiding officer and c\declare that you are not willing to vote for any of the candidate and that declaration will be somehow taken care of.
Hence, you all are requested that everybody must vote and if one is not willing to vote then surely they must participate in election and give their declaration OF “Regret to Vote” on FORM17-A.

Vote: It’s not just our right but our responsibility too. Use your right and fulfill your responsibility to build a strong nation.

Hard Slap on so called Indian Political System by Indian voters this time

It’s a matter of shame for all the political parties & politicians that voting percentage has declined so drastically. It gives a clear picture that they have been condemned by Indian Voters. It’s a big and strong slap on the face of so called Indian Political system. Below stated figures of low percentage of voting in few of biggest states of India , clears the picture which is really a matter to be given a deep thought.

State
Polling %
Tripura
78-80
Andhra Pradesh
70
Assam
62
Maharashtra
48
Karnatka
55
Goa
55
Orissa
55
Jharkhand
47
Jammu & Kashmir
46
Madhya Pradesh
45
Bihar
44
Uttar Pradesh
44

We have been hearing from long that Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh etc. have been the forte of politicians which decides the fate of Indian Politics but this time, low participation by voter has surely given a reason to think to all politicians that now they need to give a deep thought about this crucial matter.

Definitely, above said figures states that the voter is not feeling connected with the political organizations this time.

This is a shame for our nation and more shameful our politicians that after
1. 26/11 incident
2. serial bomb blasts
3. economic slow down
4. Naxalists attacks

when whole India united as one to fight against internal and external terrorism, it was the responsibility of all the political organizations to at least unite together on one common platform “Fight against Terrorism” but none of them did so and it was quite a shameful act that in election campaigns, nobody came up with real issues, rather they were fighting with each other like cats and dogs and on personal issues.

Is this what India has been looking and expecting from our so called big leaders and political organizations after 62 years of independence?

This is really not acceptable to us and to whole nation. This is really a big setback for India that initially we fought for Independence of India and now we all are fighting for the Independence of our society. If political leaders and organizations are not ready to take up real and grass root issues then we must unite together and boycott them and make them understand that this is not the time to fight with each other Or Let us all vote for the right person only without considering the political party symbol or the experience in politics by any candidate. Understand the profile of candidate and vote accordingly. At least a clean profile candidate will not spoil the system if will not make any big revolutionary changes in the system.

This is our India and we are citizens of India . Its us who will have to take care of it , nobody from outside will come and take care of us, they can only use us. We need to understand this, only then we can take care of our India . We must Vote because it’s not just our right but our responsibility too.

Tragedy of being educated corporate professional, rich !!!!!!!!!!

Because of my job profile, I have spent a long time with rural class & small cities and now being a campaigner for social awareness about voting, also working with a elite real estate company, I have been dealing with educated, corporate people, professionals and elite class.

I am stunned to observe that so called educated class can definitely talk, discuss, debate about problems but nobody is ready to step at forefront to make a change. Appreciation is good but what about participation?
It is very easy to blame and complaint from far but it is very difficult to take a step forward to enter in to the system and make necessary changes & implementations.

When I used to go to villages and in small cities, I was really welcomed and received so well that sometimes it used to make me feel as I am very special for them. The respect, welcome, treatment used to be so good that it really makes you feel good to be educated but also shameful from inside that why we educated people cant adopt this culture in big cities? We so called big city people, educated people, and corporate professionals are somehow getting away from our culture & heritage and are just running for money. In the race of becoming rich and dependent on resources leading to comfort and glamour, we are somehow forgetting our responsibilities towards family, society and nation.

I can easily understand now that why so most senior political leaders are still depending on rural, small towns people. It’s really a shame and a big slap on big city educated people, corporates and elite class.

It clearly states that when these so called educated people are not ready to fulfill their responsibilities then why they should be listened and taken care of? They really deserve it. Let them earn for self but suffer in society in which they are trying to be a king and make a mark. Its shameful, really shameful.

Take initiative and participate in society, for society & to be in society. This is for your well-being only, not others.

We say that no political party talks about issues like corruption, development, poverty etc. But, I say that the real issue to be resolved first is to “let everybody understand about their responsibilities”

Bhajji & Dhoni slams media on Padma Shri awards issue

Mr. Mahender Singh Dhoni and Mr. Harbhajan Singh being the international player, one of the senior members of Indian cricket team and clarifying giving such baseless clarifications is a big insult to a National Award “Padam Shree" which really makes one honored and proud if receive.

Mr. Dhoni & Mr. Harbhajan Singh knew that they have to be in Rashtrapati Bhawan for the award and if somehow they were not able to reach Rashtrapati Bhawan then it was their moral responsibility to inform ministry in written about their non-availability giving a genuine and logical reason. In today’s scenario when technology is so handy and easy to access, it won’t be acceptable if any of the two will say that they didn’t get the time at least to inform.

Also, in my opinion, there can’t be any such big reason for both of them that they could not make to Rashtrapati Bhawan. Their award should be cancelled for both of them as well as their name should be stuck of from further nomination in any of the National/ State awards. Rather they must be boycotted from any awards. It is a clean and clear insult.

Mr. Harbhajan Singh said that he will stop playing cricket if anyone will prove that he was in Delhi and not shooting for ad campaign but I say that he must prove that he was not in Delhi and was with his parents. I am sure that he will not be able to prove it.

Same implies to Mr. Dhoni also. Being Indian Cricket Team captain and when he is an ideal for youth of India , this kind of act will surely leave a bad mark on his character and idealism among youth. Just to make clear to Mr. Harbhajan Singh when he said that family is first for him, I say that first is the country and then the family. On international platform they are always representing India not any particular city or family.

It is really a shameful act for which both of them should apologize to country verbally as well as in written and should stop giving excuses as they have not base and values. To be an Indian, first be Indian, feel Indian and then live Indian.

Your family is in danger....Save them now till it gets late!!!!!!!!!!

Watching current scenario, a day will surely come when the terrorism and corruption will rule on us and will start killing us if we will not support them. This is what Talibaan is!!! Act according to them or they will act on you.

Be sure and mind it that this is definitely going to happen and we wont be able to stop it if no step or action be taken now. Start exploring solutions to problems now till it gets very late.

Do you want this to happen to you, your family members whom you love so much?

We are a group of professionals who are uniting together to fight against terrorism, corruption and to clean dirty politics. Following are the requirements to make a change:
Team members ( if you want to become one)
Supporters ( if you want to support us without being at forefront)
Volunteers (if you want to step forward for physical participation but not in management)
Promoters (if you want to promote via blogging, messaging, mailing etc.)

Which role are you playing or you can play from above?

Be concerned about your family at least if you are not concerned about nation. Either take a step or just stop concerning, discussing or debating on the issues which affects us and nation. In today’s scenario when everybody is busy, we are just requesting you to at least forward this mail to all your knowns and references to start a chain reaction to make a change.

For first time in India , we have adopted an eligibility criterion for people willing to join as a member of the organization. In our opinion, in today’s scenario, people not just from society but from system for society are required to take the responsibility in the system.

Eligibility criteria:

For Professionals:
1. Postgraduate/ Expertise in any of the field
2. Any professional with at least 10 years working experience.
3. Working at least at or above middle management level.

Surely, any of the Indian citizens can work a supporter/ volunteer for the organization but to be a member, one has to at least fulfill the stated eligibility criteria.

Please forward this mail to save your family and nation. This is a mandatory appeal to all, for all………………

A shameful act !!!!

As the birth date of new governance is coming near and near, the political environment is heating up. Everybody is trying to blame the opposition parties or candidates in one way or another but where can we find one who is ready to blame himself for the problem?

Is everybody doing a perfect job and delivering his/her best outcome? And if it is the best then whom do we call perfectionist? Is there anybody who can explain me the term “PERFECTION?”

Everybody is claims him/herself a root level person from society and according to him/her and is the only person who knows the real problems and concerned about them very much deeply and without him/her no developments can happen in his/her own territory, then why still after 62 years of independence there is so much work to be done at ground level and that too at basic levels where we could have finished it many years back?

Everybody means everybody is spending huge money on campaigns but where from that money comes and if somebody has got money to spend or is so much dedicated to the country that he/she is ready to spend all the assets and funds for nation in name of patriotism then how will they get it back with a fixed salary? How a single M.P. in salary of Rs 6 lakhs per annum approximately means Rs.30 lakhs in 5 years, can spend crores of rupees on campaigning. If he/she is borrowing that money from somebody then how are they going to pay it back when their total income is Rs 30 lakhs approx. per 5 years? It surely means that either they are corrupt or doing favorism for any individual.

A single phone call from higher authorities from a system makes wrong job done in no time but for common man with the help of whom government is formed has to spend a big part of his life going to system to get the right job done. People in system are enemy of people who form the system. Have you ever given a deep thought on what’s happening actually and how our lives are affected because of it?

The importance of a person should never be measured by his/her eligibility or status in society but with the decision he/she makes. But where are those decision makers? Have we been able to get the right people?

Earlier we were ruled by foreigners and now we are ruled by our own people. We can differentiate foreigners by their accent, color. Culture but how can we differentiate enemy from our own people?

Is this what we call politics? Is this what we call management of system? Is this Democracy and is this what we call governance?

I am shameful on our system and ready to clean the dirt within but what about you all? Are you concerned? Are you ready to take the responsibility and are you ready to be accountable?

slumdog millionaire & oscar

Yesterday night, I saw the movie “slum dog millionaire” and I observed a lot of things about the movie and people’s reaction on this movie.

“Slum dog millionaire”, 2 words, 1 movie who changed the scenario of Indian cinema in whole world. A movie which brought Oscars to home, to India. But

1. Why the name slum dog millionaire”
2. Why its slum dog millionaire who deserved the Oscars?
3. What slum dog millionaire actually mean and tells us but what people are taking it as?
4. What slum dog millionaire expose about Hollywood and Oscars?

Lets start with the Question No.1
1. Why the name slum dog millionaire”
Ans: It’s true that destiny plays a big role in a person’s life and that’s what shown in the movie. Either you are educated or not but yes, circumstances and life do teach you a lot of things which sometimes are not known by people whom we say “intellectuals”
But why the word “Dog”
May be because the movie is made by a British director and britishers have ruled on us for many years and they used to use this name plate infront of their house “Indians and dogs not allowed” means still we are counted the same as we were earlier according to a britisher
OR
Are we still living like dogs in slum means slum is India and we Indians are dogs who are still living the same life which britishers left us with but only difference is that now we wear western dresses and pretend like them. Have we gone intelligent enough to beat them or we are just pretending?

2. Why its slum dog millionaire who deserved the Oscars?
Ans: India is a country of many cultures, languages, societies etc. and so as the world in itself. There have been a lot many Indian movies which are more than par excellence but because been made by an Indian never got that acknowledgement which it deserves.
Same story has been repeated like earlier. That time britishers ruled on us physically ad now they ruled us mentally. They used us to make a story of our life to showcase to whole world and told everybody that “ look, this is what India is at present” and earned a lot of money and but obvious “ oscar”
OR
They have portrayed us the real picture and shown our real face in our own mirror that “look, this is what you are”. May be you are pretending like us but you are not us, not even like us. It gives us a learning that we have showed you your real picture, there is still time. Wake up and improve yourself.
Beauty products/ make-up can work as an add-on to your beauty but real beauty lies within you. How much healthy internally you are and how much positively you carry yourself. That’s the real beauty within which automatically proves itself.

3. What slum dog millionaire actually mean and tells us but what people are taking it as?
Ans. Slumdog millionaire is mirror to us and for Oscars it’s an entertainment show which is shown in a realistic way but in realistic style.
I can’t stop people that how they want to take this movie as, after all it’s India, a democratic country.

4. What slum dog millionaire expose about Hollywood and Oscars?
Ans. I think Ramayana has been repeated again. To kill Ravana, Vibhishan was the helping hand to Shri Ram, in same way, to get Oscars, Its Mr.Danny Boyle who has been the mediator.
But
Truly speaking , its an good story but not told in such a good way in which some of our other movies has been. Because, it is been directed by a Non-India, it deserved to be nominated in Oscars and that’s a true fact. If anybody denies it then he/she is lying to him/herself.
But, I take this movie as a light to remove darkness. If a movie like slumdog millionaire can win so many Oscars then come on Indian Cinema, every Oscars is ours because we already have this potential in us only thing is that now we have got the way, how to run on it, that is to be planned and implemented.

A thought !!!!!!!!!!

In search of getting more,
In search to fulfill more desires,
A human looses whatever he or she has,
The search never ends,
But time ends………even not to apologize !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Are we all ready to apologize for our mistakes to the country? If we take all the precautionery measures to save our mother, wife, sister, daughter etc. then why not our Mother India?

" विश्वास से आश्चर्य-जनक प्रोत्साहन मिलता है "

3-4 days back, I had a discussion going on with one of the respectable IPS officer alongwith few media persons about sportsperson performance in olympic games. Everybody was saying that India is rising but i said at what level? Winning a gold in so many years proves that India is rising? I replied " No"
उपदेश देना सरल है, उपाय बताना कठिन।

To win a race one need to run alongwith other competitors so that at last moment one can make some extra effort to be ahead of others but running at last and getting happy with a thought that atleast i participated in the race is no answer to the problem.

Answer is to upgrade the level of coaching, diets, facilities, measure to competitors level and then lets see who can stop us to win golds than any other. Beautification from outside can never bring out internal glow and healthiness in body, it can only act as an add-on.

Solution to bad or damaged roads is not to repair them but to explore the ways that how and why it got damages, find out the remedies to it and then make a best quality road with all safety measure implemented.
प्रत्येक अच्छा कार्य पहले असम्भव नजर आता है।
Same is the problem with all Indian problems.
